It's not the fault of the helpful receptionists that I've now been trying to speak to someone for two hours but where's the call que gone? Seriously understaffed with such a huge population is a massive problem for this surgery. Can't book appointments in advance and can't get through to book for the day. I'm trying to reschedule an appointment I have for two hours from now but it's proving impossible. Had some good (as good as going to the doctors can be) experiences here, and some really terrible ones over the years, wish there was an alternative.
Cant book an appointment unless you call at 8:30... Call at 8:30, get through by 9:00 only to be told there are none left. Every damn time... Its no wonder people put off going to the doctors and end up suffering unnecessarily. I'm so sick of being fobbed off. Will be making a formal complaint to NHS England. Why on earth can I not book an appointment in advance? Maybe for next week when you are not booked. Have we gone back in time? Do you not know how to use calendars? Its a disgrace that I cannot book an appointment so I can arrange for childcare, time off work etc in advance. We have lives to live and cant afford to take time off at the drop of a hat. So fed up with this rubbish.
Great if you can get an appointment. But with the town expanding they need to sort something. After trying for over an hour to get through you get an appointment for 3pm.Don't think they understand their patient needs.
