I used to drive to London and pickup a large item. 200 mile round trip. My experience was very positive. Local company offering great value for money. Took time to explain everything to me. Old van with high mileage sure but no issues with road worthiness or reliability. At 60 + VAT including insurance what are people expecting? Brand new vehicles?! Sure they are hot on fuel being at same level on return and no damage - they can't lose money when charging at these sensible levels.
Very disappointed with this company. The van we hired was old and dirty. There were empty 9% alcohol beer cans left in the driver's side.The individual who served us was rude and short with us. I handed the van back and had it checked by a guy, who agreed it was all fine and gladly took it off our hands. I then returned to collect my deposit and had it deducted for "being short on fuel". I'm frustrated that I didn't take a picture of the dash when I had the chance.If, for some reason, you decided to use this company, make sure you have evidence for everything you do and all the damage already on the van before you get it. You're likely to get stung for it otherwise.I will never use this company again, ever.
Do not use this place. Awful. The van was a state, rude service and finished off by stealing money from the deposit at the end with some BS excuse. Thief. Never use again. Anywhere would be better than this place.
Whoever reviewed this place with one star should be ashamed, its always better to sort problems privately rather than vent publically. We are a big customer of T E Dye and these guys bend over backwards for us and go above and beyond every time even when my timeframes would appear unreasonable to some! Terry is not rude I can tell you that, if he was I would not do business with him. I would recommend this place to anyone I know anytime
