If it were possible to rate 0 stars, I would give them just that. Chronically understaffed and those who are there after 4pm just don't seem to care. I've gone to the dispensary at 5:45 pm and spent 15 minutes trying to order something that I rely on to live (type 1 diabetic), they apparently couldn't find it on the system even though THIS SURGERY prescribed it to me in the first place, so I went out to the car to make sure I was ordering the right thing (I was), but when I went to go back and finish the request I was met by staff telling me very rudely that I would have to come back tomorrow as they're closed (this was at 18:02)... Long story short, I was left without vital medication overnight and until the following evening because of my work hours and the surgery's lack of care. My best advice would be to go elsewhere, as I am.
Errors, errors, errors year in, year out. Staff have been rude and patronising, misled me & most recently a decision to cut my medication in half without talking to me is simply mind boggling. Apparently they are a very busy surgery and these things happen is their explanation, i.e. money wasted, time wasted all at the expense of the tax payer. And they have the monopoly because they're allowed to run both surgeries. So no competition therefore no reason to improve.
If there was a no star would giv u none. Go in there ask to see someone I was pregnant and my belly was big. I got told that I am only aloud a contraception appointment. My reply was pointing at my belly and said do I look like I'm on contraception. Bad bad place.
Got appointment within 2 days of calling..Doctor was extremely kind and patient with me and very thorough.
Previously I had been seeing Dr Fry and found him very understanding and helpful. My most recent telephone medication review with a different Dr wasnt too good. The prescribed medication was making me feel quite bad, the Dr just said ok well well just stop it then without giving any alternatives and that was the end of the phone call. Now Im in a worse place back to square one and feel like iv just wasted my time. Feeling quite let down by my local surgery.
